If you’re reading this, it’s because we’d like to work with you to get the word out about WIN Detergent.  We’re looking forward to developing a partnership with you that benefits you and us, but more importantly benefits your audience.

WIN is a really straightforward product.  It’s a detergent that gets the smell out of synthetic fabrics – the kind you find in running, cycling, yoga, and other fitness apparel, and in jerseys that people wear for team sports.  WIN isn’t for everybody.  People sweat differently, and everyone’s nose is different.  But for the person whose workout gear smells bad even after they wash it with regular detergent, WIN really works.  WIN is primarily sold on Amazon (visit the Amazon listing), and is also available in some specialty retail stores throughout the US.

WIN is owned & managed by Lee Silverman, the founder of NYC’s largest running store JackRabbit Sports.  Lee bought WIN Detergent 6 years ago when the original owners ran out of money because he, his staff, and his customers all used it.  Lee sold JackRabbit to a large national footwear retailer, and now is focusing on growing WIN into the leading brand in this tiny little niche.  He is a dedicated runner who has finished the NYC Marathon, numerous half marathons, and three Half-Ironman triathlons.  He’s currently training for the Brooklyn Half Marathon in Spring 2018.

About Our Customers

WIN’s best customers are people who have clothing that they specifically wear for workouts, and who exercise several times a week.  It’s very popular with runners and cyclists, and with anyone who takes spin, does yoga (especially hot yoga!) pilates, or kickboxing, or who goes to the gym a few times a week.

We don’t like to stereotype, but WIN is also very popular with moms of teenagers who play sports like hockey, football, soccer, lacrosse, or gymnastics, or who are on the cheer squad.  WIN also has a small but loyal following of people who wear technical fabrics for work, like police and military personnel.  And our single largest customer is the costume manager for a Broadway musical.

People who like WIN love WIN.  More than HALF of our customers have purchased 2 or more bottles from us.  68% of the customers whose first purchase was over a year ago have purchased 2 or more bottles from us.  We’ve maintained a 4.6 rating on Amazon, and if you read our 700+ reviews on Amazon, almost all of them gush about how well WIN works for them.

How we want to work with you

Your audience has chosen to follow you because of your unique voice and perspective.  You know them far better than we do.  We want anything you say about WIN to be in your voice, from your experience, and we want it to be genuine.  You shouldn’t recommend WIN to your followers if you don’t genuinely believe they would benefit from giving it a try.

We want long term relationships, not “one and done” posts.  Ideally, you like WIN enough personally that you incorporate it into your own laundry routine.  Don’t worry, we’ll keep you well stocked.

Before we agree to work together, we’ll send you a free bottle of WIN Blue and a bottle of WIN Green so you can try it for yourself.  Once you’re convinced that we’re worth talking about, we can figure out how we should make your audience aware of WIN.

Ideally it’s not just one post, it’s a series or sequence of posts over several weeks or months.
What are some of the ways you can remind your audience that you’re a fan after that initial introduction?
We’re all ears – we love creative ideas that will get the word out. But keep in mind we’re a pretty small company, so no Super Bowl ads, ok? (At least, not yet.)
We can put our ad dollars behind your content on Facebook and Instagram. Do you have a blog? Promoted articles on Facebook have been a big hit. Got something pithy to say in 140 characters or less? We’ll retweet and promote. Know a good photographer? We’d love some great photos that’ll catch people’s attention.
Please give us a reasonable price for the campaign you’re proposing, the size of your audience, and how engaged they are with you. We can pay some up front, some at specific milestones, or any other plan that makes sense. We can use Paypal, Venmo, or send you a check. We don’t need to fit you into a particular formula, and we always pay on time—this is hard enough for you, you shouldn’t have to worry when you’ll get paid.
